Long lucid dream at another house

December 1, 2009

I slept over at a friend's house again last night, and though I didn't have an OBE this time, I had a long, lucid dream. It started in the back porch and yard of a large house, then morphed into my youngest sister and I fooling around with some things at a store, and seeing some weird futuristic toys, like a bungee-jumping duck, if that makes any sense.

Once I woke up in the dream, I began flying at will, and trying to help other people realize it was a dream. At one point I told someone it was a dream, and when they didn't believe me, I made a sandwich appear. I tasted the sandwich, and it tasted perfectly real. After that I conjured up anything I wanted.

There's a special feeling about being awake in a dream like this. Maybe the easiest way to say it is that it really is a fantasy world, and you can do anything you want. It's a really fun way to spend the night, that's for sure.

Shortly after this a man appeared, and I didn't have a good feeling about him. As he began to speak to me, I started waking up, and knew I was waking up. He tried to say something to me, but I realized I was leaving, and I didn't hear what he said.

It's a weird feeling waking up like that, like you're being pulled out of a dream, and the dream is going to keep going on without you. It's not like the dream goes away; it was me that went away, and the dream plays on.

As a final note, I don't know why I woke up. I didn't have to go to the bathroom or anything like that, but maybe there were some other external noises, but when I woke up the house was quiet.
