Out of energy
February 18, 2011This afternoon, around 2pm, I got extremely tired for no apparent reason, at least nothing I could think of. I had a good night's sleep last night, and I barely worked this morning, instead going to the grocery and running other errands. At some point I decided I couldn't fight it any more, so I decided to lay down in my recliner for an hour before starting into my afternoon work. The short story is that four hours later I woke up. I don't recall all of my dreams during this time, but I remember in that one dream I was in a reclined position in a restaurant, and a waitress asked if I was okay. I said yes, and asked her to let me stay there a while. Just after that I realized that my eyes were closed but I could see, which I thought was very remarkable. I began to turn my head to look around, and indeed I could see without opening my eyes, so I got up and began to walk around, still with my eyes closed but being able to see. After a while I lost consciousness and don't recall any more dreams until just before I woke up. At that point I was in a similar state, but I was outside. I wish I had recorded my dreams when I first woke up, because they were pretty interesting, but now, four hours later, I can't remember them very well. As you can tell by the four hours of sleep, I was having a very hard time waking up. I felt completely exhausted, and even by the time I got off the recliner at 6pm I was still very tired. I don't know what that was about, but it's 10pm now, and I feel much better.
