Working with Steve Jobs on a touchscreen interface

February 28, 2012

I spent most of my dreaming time this morning working with Steve Jobs on a new touchscreen interface. After that, it put a smile on my face to see Apple announce that they'll be having a press conference on March 7th, presumably to introduce their iPad 3 design. Their announcement stated, "We have something you really need to see. And touch."

The dream with Mr. Jobs began with us seated next to each other, with me sitting to his left. I looked over and saw him typing on a flat screen device of some sort, and so I began asking him questions about it. I don't like to report much after the initial part of a dream, but this initial part of the dream was related to a very unusual "keyboard", for lack of a better term. At some point we used a term that sounded like "shin air ay", though I have no idea how that would be spelled.

After that we kept working on different designs as we moved from place to place throughout the dream. He kept looking at me like I was some stray puppy dog, but with my enthusiasm in the project, he kept showing me more and more features, and I told him what I liked or didn't like as we went along.
