Ophelia, by Natalie Merchant

February 12, 2015

It can be a little depressing, but Ophelia, by Natalie Merchant, is one of my favorite songs.

Of course there is also Ophelia, by William Shakespeare:

“There’s fennel for you, and columbines:
there’s rue for you; and here’s some for me:
we may call it herb-grace o’ Sundays:
O you must wear your rue with a difference...”

But back to Natalie Merchant:

Rue, Safe & Sound

If you follow the name Rue to the Hunger Games, you’ll eventually find a song named Safe & Sound.
