Was I being shown something during an OBE?
Another weekend, and another OBE -- wow! I couldn't have asked for a much better start to the new year, especially since I've been preoccupied with work and moving, and haven't even attempted to do any setup work for an OBE.
Moved my bed
I keep forgetting to mention that the one thing I have done prior to all these new vibration experiences -- three or four separate episodes since the beginning of the year -- was to move my bed.
As I've mentioned before, my neighbors here are very loud, so over the course of a few nights I found an area that seemed to be more quiet at night than the place I was sleeping. I moved my fake-futon over to that area, and I've been sleeping there every night since. I did this a few weeks ago, just after Christmas.
Three more vibration experiences
I just had three more vibration episodes during an afternoon nap. I still did not have an OBE, as I think I've swung the other way in my efforts, and I think I'm trying to force the action too much. However, I did have the very cool "toggling" between different worlds.
The setup
I had a stressful morning, and a nagging headache all day. Around 3pm I finally gave in and decided to rest for a little while. I set up my bean bag, and slept at an inclined angle for the usual 45 minutes or so.
Near vibration/OBE experience in yoga class
Just a quick note here that I came close to having the vibrations start during yoga class tonight when we did the "corpse pose" at the end of class. I could tell they were getting very close to happening, so I kept myself from relaxing any more, moving my arms and head several times.
I would love to be able to do this at the end of every yoga session I do at home (experience the vibrations and have an OBE), but at a class I don't want to freak out the rest of the class members, lol.
More vibrations and an OBE
Last night a friend came over, but by the time she was here I knew a headache was coming on. Rather than take headache medicine, I decided to make lime daiquiris in an attempt to get through the pain. Unfortunately that was a really bad idea, and the headache just kept getting worse, and I was in bed by 10pm. I didn't recover until I woke up in bed pain-free around 3am.
One New Year's resolution
First, a quick thanks to someone who cared enough to put herself out on a limb for me. :) It is much appreciated.
Second, like many other people, I've been thinking about New Year's
resolutions recently, and as far as OBEs go, I need to
re-dedicate myself to validating OBEs with things like the card tests
I've written about on this site before. (Please search the site for
"cards", and you'll find what I'm talking about.)
An unintentional New Year's OBE attempt
Wow, a nice way to start the new year, the old-time vibrations and an attempted OBE on Day 1 of the new year -- woot!
The setup
I spent new year's eve alone, so I drank some champagne starting at around 7pm while I called several friends and family members to wish them well. The last call ended around 10:15pm, and after watching a little tv, I was in bed by 11pm. I woke up briefly when I heard the neighbors celebrating the new year, and went right back to sleep.
Moving my body from the dream state is just like body-switching
I've been trying some experiments lately, trying to move my physical body while I am in the dream state, and as I was writing a friend to tell them about this, it occurred to me that the feeling I have when doing this is identical to the feeling I've had in several "body switching" experiences.
An aborted OBE
Another night house-sitting for a friend, and another OBE, this time about 4am. I accidentally stopped this one short because I was trying to do something else, but here's how it went down:
An OBE coming on; time running out
If I were a betting man, I'd bet that under normal circumstances, tonight I would have an OBE. I've read that an epileptic can tell when they are about to have a seizure, and over the last two years I've been very accurate in predicting when I will have an OBE.
