The Tao, and riding the waves
The thing I've really gotten during the meditation and lucid dreaming process the last few nights is how much life on Earth really is like the Tao. I clearly remember feeling last night that Lao-Tse really knew his stuff. (Like he needed any validation from me, lol.)
Recurring dream of Greeks and an ocean restaurant
Nothing major last night, just a recurring dream of two Greeks I know that wanted me to look at some oceanfront property for a restaurant. The property is unusual in that it is something like a concrete structure that juts out into the water. I had the impression it was something the government made, and then abandoned.
Funny dream, ocean dream, old man dying dream
Dream 1 - Funny dream in a car
4:37am ... just had a funny dream ... I'm out in a city street, getting things out of the trunk of a car. I'm supposed to go to a former client's office and do some work late at night. There's water in the trunk, and there are a couple of bare electric wires in the water. Then a phone starts ringing in the trunk, and I think, "Well, I'm not touching anything in there", but after a few moments (and more ringing) I decide it's safe.
Bill, there's a message for you
I took a nap after driving to Virginia Beach today, and "woke up" in a dream in a lucid state. While laying there in complete silence and darkness, I tried to think of something to do or say. For some reason I finally thought, "If anyone has anything to say to Bill (a friend of mine), I'm open to your message."
Taking a ferry to an evil place
After Thanksgiving gathering, drank some champagne so I could get some sleep tonight. First dream, I'm swimming near an ocean, and there's a huge wave, running parallel to the ocean shore, and there's a second one, coming right at us.
Next thing I know I'm in the water with two other people, and we're surrounded by all these cars. We say something like "Finders keepers, let's get them to the shore." But then I woke up.
Dreams of a good friend, the sea, and a spouse
My dreams the last few nights have been all over the place, and I haven't bothered to record most of them. But here's a quick example of a long dream from this morning.
(start of the dream)
I'm one of two men that lived a very long time ago. We lived on or near an island, and several times we traveled together in a wooden boat, and had at least two near-fatal accidents in the sea/ocean. As far as I can tell we were good friends, and had been for quite some time.
Running, and not being able to fit through a passage way
Last dream of the morning ... at a small college, like the first one I went to. A recurring dream, I'm in an annex building, and there's a gym, and a girl's dorm, maybe both in one building ... I'm running (jogging) along, I walk out, and there's a towel around my waist, and I'm thinking I must be close to my destination, maybe my dorm room.
But in fact, I have a very long way to go, I just don't know it yet. I run up these stairs, and there are some girls, and they say "Oh, we're going to keep an eye on you", because they're all going to be in an area beneath me as I run.
