Terrific orb pictures

September 28, 2009

I recently got back in touch with a friend of mine named Nancy who has her own website. All of her photographs are wonderful, but I especially like Nancy's pictures of orbs. Having seen one with my naked eyes back in 2006 at The Monroe Institute, I can 100% vouch that what I saw then is what Nancy shows in her photographs.

The orb I saw with my own eyes looked just like many of Nancy's circular orb photographs: a nearly perfect circle, with something like a membrane around the outside, and other dots in the middle. Currently, the blue and brown orbs at the bottom of the page I linked to are most like the orb I saw.

When I saw this orb I was in a group with three other people, just a few moments after a picture was taken of our group. We were standing on the big lawn at the first TMI house (I can't think of the name of it), late in the evening on the last night of class. The orb sat still in mid-air just long enough for me to see it, then move my head up and down, and then left and right to make sure it wasn't some sort of reflection on my glasses. But as I moved my head around the orb remained perfectly motionless, hovering in mid-air.

After a few moments (maybe 2-3 seconds) the orb "flew" back to the person who took the photograph (one of our class facilitators ... I can't think of her name right now) on an extremely straight line. It flew back to her, and the disappeared as it got close to her and her camera. I've always wondered, was the orb somehow going back into the camera, or was it flying back to the person who took the picture?

I asked everyone else in the picture if they saw that orb, but they didn't. I was the only one in the group who wears glasses, so I would have been really concerned that this was an illusion related to my glasses, but because I had enough time to move my head around and the orb remained perfectly still, I have to say that I either (1) saw an orb, or (2) saw some form of hologram and someone was trying to punk me. But because nobody else saw it, I'm going with Option 1.

I'd like to be able to tell you I see orbs all the time, but I never saw one before this event, and have never seen one since then. But it's one of those things where if someone shows me a picture of an orb, I can at least think, "Yeah, I've seen one of those." :)

If you have a little time, I highly recommend checking out Nancy's photographs. Nancy really has a gift in this area.
