Death Dreams, Part ... whatever

March 25, 2017

If my dreams are a reliable indicator, my aunt will pass away in the next two weeks or so. She’s been sick for a while now, so this isn’t a surprise, and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

FWIW, historically these dreams have been like this:

In other dreams I also accurately predicted my father-in-law passing out, which he had never done before, and possibly helped to keep him alive when I got a dream of his pending death — a preventable death.

The worst one for me was seeing a dog die. That was months before he passed away after a stroke, but that dream was no metaphor. It was more like a horribly vivid vision of what would later happen.

In the case of my aunt, I had a series of dreams this week of her and the house she used to live in 10-15 years ago. I’ve never had those before in my life, so while my Spidey Sense isn’t as good as it used to be, I assume that place holds pleasant memories for her, and that’s what this is about.

My aunt's granddaughter died of a drug overdose less than 48 hours after I wrote this, and the nurses expect my aunt to pass away before the end of the month.
